A Gem In Rye

I am writing in strong support of the expansion of the Rye Arts Center. As a 28-year Rye resident, former Deputy Mayor and City Council Member, past RAC Board Member, and mother, I wholeheartedly believe that the RAC is a true gem in our community, enriching the lives of neighbors of all ages.

My children benefited greatly from RAC’s diverse offerings, from STEM and painting classes to summer theater camps. The RAC also provides a safe and welcoming space for teens, and this expansion will create even more opportunities for them at a time when they have few places to go. Additionally, the RAC’s programs for seniors and its partnership with SPRE bring valuable cultural and educational experiences to our community.
